Our History
AURADONICS, INC. is a
privately family owned manufacturer of orthodontic products. We sell our products wholesale to distributors who interface with orthodontists.
John Ianieri, Sr., President,
had worked in orthodontic sales for over 16 years for Unitek (later Unitek/3M) and spent six years on the road selling orthodontic products face to face to doctors. After promotion to sales management, he excelled
there, achieving top sales manager for six years in a row. He then found a better opportunity at OIS Corporation, which gave him knowledge of manufacturing. With both sales and manufacturing knowledge at hand, John
knew how to make and sell orthodontic products and he then started his own business.
AURADONICS, INC.
was envisioned and formed in 1989 by John and Nancy Ianieri initially to make ceramic aesthetic brackets, at first outsourcing some of the production. Auradonics was successful and soon the production moved to a
rented shop and expanded to include manufacture of Elast-o-Ties. After further growth, we bought our first building in 1992 for warehousing and production. We had dies made for elastomeric chain and had an outside
extruder make the ribbon for us. We then bought a turn-key elastics operation from Flexmedics and brought those machines in-house. Thereafter we brought in stainless steel bracket machinery and experts to make them.
Since our outsourcing of molded plastics was problematic, we purchased molding machines and auxiliary equipment and rented an annex to house it and run our dies to our high quality standards.
Again out of space, we
purchased our present building in 2000. Since then we extrude our own ribbon and thread, make our own molds, dies and automation improvements. We have satisfied customers all around the globe.
We continue to improve our
products based on customer and clinician feedback, and follow the journals to keep abreast of trends and new inventions.
We are known for our
Quality Products, Fast Shipping, and Conscientious Concern to do this job well. We all strive to help clinicians help patients with the many problems associated with malocclusions, congenital, traumatic, or
cosmetic.
